Significant 'life issues' can happen at any stage in our lives and can lead to significant and sometimes sudden changes to our circumstances. No matter how strong we are, sudden change can be unsettling, causing anxiety, stress and upset. At times such as this we sometimes need suport: adjusting to change can be difficult. Sometimes we can get this by talking to our partner, family or friends. In some cases, it is helpful to speak to a professional - someone who is trained to help, like a psychotherapist or counsellor.
